Over the last two weeks I have felt proud, shock, disbelief, excitement, confident, unworthy, worthy and everything in between.
Someone asked me why I thought I won over the other very eligible and worthy finalists and I genuinely couldn't answer, because it's a question I've been asking myself since the awards night. Instead of trying to answer, I decided to remind myself why I was in the running.
Business is hard, it's living outside my comfort zone every single day, it's making decisions only 9 months ago I would make with the rest of the management team, it's putting my face all over social media, it's learning and taking action but most of all, it's rewarding, it's challenging and it's making me a better person.
Every day I show up, I show up for me and my family even when it's hard, because I want to be the best I can be, for me and for them and set us up for a financially secure future.
Every day I show up for my team, because without them Your A Team wouldn't be the business it is today.
Every day I show up for my clients because they deserve excellence, added value and commitment.
On the best days and the worst, I show up. I believe that I can do it (even when self-doubt sets in), I set goals and become completely obsessed with smashing them.
So, I'm embracing and celebrating that I did win, that my hard work and successes was recognized by the incredible judges. I will continue to show up every day, because that's what makes this insane, amazing adventure successful and worth it.
